Patna, June 29 (NationPress) - During a rally at Gandhi Maidan, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized the BJP-led NDA government regarding the Waqf Act. In response, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has strongly rebuffed these claims, labeling the Bihar Leader of Opposition as hypocritical about the Waqf Act.
“Tejashwi should prioritize getting his associates to vacate graveyards and Waqf lands before making speeches on the subject. A staggering ninety percent of those occupying graveyards are from your own party, so how can you address this issue?” questioned Jitan Ram Manjhi.
Adding fuel to the fire, Santosh Kumar Suman, the national president of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Bihar minister, made a bold assertion, claiming that Tejashwi Yadav would remain “unemployed” (out of power) until 2030.
Suman stated: “The opposition is misleading the youth under the guise of providing jobs. Tejashwi Yadav has had two opportunities in government, thanks to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, but he lost them both due to allegations of corruption and trickery.”
He reminisced that Tejashwi was first in government for 20 months before being ousted due to corruption and 'benami' property claims, and then returned for another 17 months in 2022 before again losing power.
“Now, Tejashwi is attempting to secure another 20 months by deceiving the youth of Bihar, but his dismal record suggests he will never get another chance. He is destined to remain unemployed until 2030,” Suman remarked.
The HAM leader further emphasized that Tejashwi Yadav is not seeking power to create jobs for the youth of Bihar but rather to eliminate his own unemployment and exploit Bihar for personal gain.
Suman asserted that the youth and voters of Bihar are now fully aware of the deception orchestrated by Tejashwi Yadav, who is desperate for power.
Earlier on Sunday, Tejashwi Yadav accused the BJP of attempting to strip minorities and impoverished communities of their rights via the Waqf Act and revisions to the voter list, urging the public to resist these actions.
The escalating exchange between Manjhi and Suman highlights the intensifying verbal conflict leading up to the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
