New Delhi, Oct 14 (NationPress) The political landscape in Bihar has recently been marked by an intriguing literary interaction between RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha and Congress figure Imran Pratapgarhi. In the midst of these poetic exchanges, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav made a notable statement, asserting, “Manoj Babu is isolated, ignored.”
Yadav elaborated, “Everything (RJD-Congress) is functioning as usual. Manoj Babu stands isolated and overlooked.”
“He is my brother, a learned individual whose abilities remain unnoticed, while the uneducated are given preference. His perspective is different, and his anguish is distributed in varied ways,” he added.
Manoj Jha had shared a poetic couplet inspired by Rahim’s renowned verses on love and unity, to which Imran Pratapgarhi responded with his own lines reflecting on the distressed city and the urgent call for salvation.
Manoj Jha’s original post on X stated: “Do not sever the bond of love; once torn, it might never mend. If together, it will have knots; … Jai Hind.” (Loosely translated).
In reply, Imran Pratapgarhi wrote: “Tears may fill the eye; even now, the burning city can be rescued.”
Pappu Yadav also addressed Congress’s preparations for the Bihar elections, stating, “There’s no need for concern regarding Congress’s strategies. It honors its members and knows how to uphold its dignity. It will not weaken its alliance. Congress makes decisions with Bihar and the nation’s interest in mind, acting for the Constitution and democracy.”
As of now, there has been no consensus on seat allocation between the two parties. Reports indicate that Rahul Gandhi had a phone discussion with Tejashwi Yadav regarding this matter.
The Congress leadership is waiting for an agreement to convene a joint meeting with Tejashwi to demonstrate the unity of their alliance.
On Monday morning, Rahul Gandhi met with Bihar Congress leaders, followed by a nearly two-hour discussion involving Tejashwi Yadav, Congress General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal, and other state leaders.
Congress is reportedly insistent on contesting 60 seats while preserving its preferred constituencies. Tejashwi Yadav informed Congress leaders that talks with the VIP and other allies are still ongoing. Following this, Tejashwi met with senior Congress figures, including Venugopal, Krishna Allavaru, and Bihar Congress president Rajesh Ram.
