Officials from the Endowment Department provided the Chief Minister with details about the proposed master plan during the meeting.
After reviewing the temple designs, the CM advised that the Medaram temple should be developed systematically and that all facilities should be in place ahead of the Medaram Jatara in January 2026, which is expected to attract nearly 2 crore devotees. The authorities were directed to devise plans to ensure the completion of Medaram's development within the 100-day timeframe.

Medaram, situated in the Mulugu district, is renowned for the Sammakka Sarakka Jatara, which is touted as the largest tribal festival in Asia, drawing tribal devotees from all over the country every two years.
Regarding the expansion and development of the Basara Saraswati Temple, the CM highlighted the need to respect local sentiments during the construction of these sacred sites.
