The Jana Sena Party had released a statement confirming that Kalyan underwent surgery on Saturday evening. It explained that he experienced severe discomfort while discussing administrative matters with officials the previous morning. Having faced health issues for several months, he followed his doctors' advice and canceled his engagements to seek hospital treatment. After medical examinations, including an MRI, the doctors recommended surgery as necessary.
According to medical advice, he is expected to return to official duties after a week to ten days of rest, but long-term precautions are advised, and a full recovery may take longer.
While the party has not disclosed specific details about the surgery, sources indicate that he had a sinusitis procedure performed at a hospital in Hyderabad.
Moreover, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu wished Pawan Kalyan a speedy recovery, stating, “May he regain his strength swiftly and return healthier than before.”
Governor S. Abdul Nazeer also took to ‘X’ to send his wishes for a quick recovery, saying, “May the Almighty grant him strength for a fast recovery and good health.”
