Satna, July 26 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Saturday that the state government is dedicated to promoting the economic advancement of women, while also ensuring social harmony and empowerment for everyone.

During his address at the 'Matrushakti Utsav' in Singhpur, Satna district, the Chief Minister highlighted various initiatives aimed at supporting farmers, youth, the underprivileged, and women's empowerment, all in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.

He remarked, 'In our culture, the sentiment of motherhood for the nation is inherent. We are always prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for Bharat Mata. Today’s Matrushakti Conference symbolizes our reverence, affection, love, and respect for mothers and sisters in accordance with Sanatan Dharma.'

The 'Ladli Bahna Yojana' was launched to honor women in the state. CM Yadav announced that during the month of Shravana, an additional Rs 250 will be added to the existing Rs 1,250 transferred to women's bank accounts.

'We are providing every possible support for girls aspiring to become doctors and engineers. Special assistance is also being extended to sisters employed in industries,' he emphasized. He also revealed plans to gradually increase the financial aid under the Ladli Bahna Yojana, with an aim of reaching Rs 3,000 per month by 2028.

'Over Rs 1,500 crore is being disbursed monthly under this scheme for women's empowerment and welfare. All sisters in the state are our pride and honor,' he added. Furthermore, the Chief Minister mentioned PM Modi's announcement of 33 percent reservation for women in both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha. On this occasion, he inaugurated and performed bhoomi-pujan for 232 projects totaling over Rs 93 crore in Satna district.

Following the event in Satna, the Chief Minister traveled to Rewa to inaugurate a two-day regional tourism conclave at the Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium, which will conclude on Sunday.
