Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh), June 22 (NationPress) The Jan Aushadhi Kendras, initiated under the visionary Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), are proving to be a boon for economically disadvantaged and middle-class families across the nation, providing access to high-quality medicines at affordable prices—a service previously unavailable.
Beneficiaries of PMBJP in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, are expressing their satisfaction, as numerous villagers are reaping the benefits of this public welfare initiative.
Many villagers, sharing their happiness, mentioned that they now have access to effective medications at lowered costs, leading to significant savings on their healthcare expenses.
“Discounts ranging from 10 to 70 percent on medicines have resulted in enormous savings,” shared numerous beneficiaries during an interaction with IANS.
They voiced their appreciation to PM Modi for the Jan Aushadhi Kendra initiative.
Pooja Chandrawat, the Director and pharmacist of Jan Aushadhi Kendra, informed IANS, “I completed my B.Pharma in Mandsaur, and after marriage, I established this center. This initiative by the Modi government is immensely beneficial for economically weaker patients. We acquire top-quality medicines at reduced prices. For instance, a sanitary pad that sells for Rs 50 in the market is available here for just Rs 15. I am grateful to the Prime Minister for launching this initiative for the public.”
Arun Porwal, a customer at Jan Aushadhi Kendra, remarked that the prices of medicines here are significantly lower than those in the market, showing a difference of approximately 50 to 80 percent.
“I am thankful to PM Modi for considering the needs of the underprivileged and establishing these medicine centers throughout the nation. The quality of the medicines here is commendable, and the discounts offered are remarkable,” he added.
Kailash Chandra Dhakad, who visited to procure medicines for his wife, stated, "My wife recently underwent heart surgery and has been on regular medication for the past eight months. I am receiving a 40 to 50 percent discount on medicines compared to market prices."
He further expressed, “This scheme is excellent; we are saving a substantial amount of money.”
