Bhopal, Nov 1 (NationPress) On the occasion of the state’s 70th Foundation Day, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav introduced the Viksit Madhya Pradesh @2047 Vision Document, committing to 200,000 government jobs within a span of three years and presenting a comprehensive strategy to transform the state into a hub of industry, agriculture, and innovation by the 100th anniversary of India’s Independence.
During the “Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh” event at Ravindra Bhavan, Yadav proclaimed 2025 as the Year of Investment and Employment.
“Strategic initiatives have attracted proposals surpassing Rs 30 lakh crore, with Rs 8.44 lakh crore already approved—set to create over 600,000 jobs,” he stated.
In just the past two years, investments totaling Rs 23,853 crore have led to the creation of 825,000 positions, along with filling 60,000 government vacancies.
The Vision Document, developed through extensive consultations across all districts and panchayats, with support from NITI Aayog, is founded on three pillars: happiness, prosperity, and culture.
This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision, highlighting public engagement as essential to progress.
Notable projects include the Pradhan Mantri MITRA Park, an upcoming Rail Coach Factory in Umariya (Raisen), and various tourism and medical education projects under public-private partnerships.
An air ambulance service has been launched to provide rapid medical assistance to remote areas. The state’s agricultural backbone will receive support through river-linking projects to enhance irrigation, solar pumps enabling farmers to generate their own energy, and nearly complete digital land registries (97%—the highest in the nation).
Infrastructure development surged with the signing of the Ujjain Airport agreement in the presence of Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, marking the fourth new airport in two years, following Rewa, Satna, and Datia.
