Beneficiaries of the Mudra Yojana, especially from the middle and lower middle classes across India, express their gratitude towards the government for enabling funding for their entrepreneurial endeavors.
In Rajkot, Gujarat, several beneficiaries shared their experiences with IANS, highlighting how the Mudra Yojana was pivotal in transforming their lives.
One beneficiary remarked, "I owe my thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The assistance we received through the Mudra scheme has significantly eased our business operations."
He mentioned that the scheme's primary goal is to aid small business owners like him in managing their enterprises.
"Small entrepreneurs like us often lack sufficient capital. PM Modi initiated the PM Mudra Yojana with people like us in mind. Thanks to his policies, we can now secure loans effortlessly from banks," he added.
This beneficiary operates his business in Gokul Nagar, situated on the ring road in Rajkot. In 2018, he aspired to launch a startup but lacked the necessary funds. Upon learning about the PM Mudra Yojana, he approached the bank, secured a loan, and successfully expanded his business.
Importantly, the PMMY provides easy, collateral-free loans of up to Rs 10 lakh for non-corporate and non-farm income-generating activities. These loans are made available to aspiring entrepreneurs through banks, non-banking financial companies, and various financial institutions.
Countless small business owners nationwide have availed themselves of loans under this scheme, consequently expanding their businesses and creating job opportunities for others.
