Amaravati, April 30 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, expressed his enthusiasm on Wednesday regarding the Centre's decision to incorporate caste enumeration in the upcoming Census 2025.
As the national President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Naidu emphasized that this move by the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs symbolizes Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong dedication to inclusive governance.
“This historic action will facilitate more accurate, data-driven policies that cater to the requirements of marginalized communities across our nation. The principle of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is transitioning from concept to reality, reinforcing the pillars of social justice in India,” Naidu noted, highlighting that his party plays a significant role in the BJP-led NDA government.
Meanwhile, the Jana Sena Party (JSP), a coalition partner in the TDP-led NDA government, has yet to respond to this announcement.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, took to X to declare that the Union Cabinet, under Prime Minister Modi's guidance, made a groundbreaking choice to include caste enumeration in the forthcoming official census.
