Patna, Oct 22 (NationPress) RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav stated on Wednesday that his party's initiatives are meticulously planned, rooted in research and expert advice. He further charged that the NDA is entering elections devoid of any vision, concentrating solely on disparaging him and his party.
In an interview with IANS, Tejashwi Yadav remarked, “Our actions are always well-planned. We refrain from making statements without research or expert counsel. But what is their (NDA’s) vision? They approach elections without a strategy — only to malign Tejashwi and his party. Bihar can no longer be governed in this manner. The government fails to address critical issues like unemployment, migration, poverty, or inflation. We are tackling these matters. We possess a vision and are committed to delivering actionable results.”
He underscored that his party has the intent and the vision to instigate genuine change.
“We are transparently communicating our vision. When the matter of vacant teacher positions arose, Sushil Modi claimed it was impossible to fill them. When we discussed job creation, the Chief Minister dismissed it as unfeasible. Yet, in merely 17 months, we generated 5 lakh jobs, addressed all pending recruitment issues, and filled 4 lakh vacant teaching posts. We have nothing to prove — our achievements speak for themselves,” said Tejashwi Yadav.
Tejashwi Yadav also revealed two significant announcements, which he labeled as “historic.”
“We have made two major announcements that are indeed historic. The exploitation endured by our JEEViKA didis under the Nitish Kumar-BJP regime has been severe — including official harassment, unpaid labor, and continuous injustice. Upon meeting them, they expressed, ‘Tejashwi, we have faith in you. Please take action.’ Today, we have resolved that Community Mobilisers will be granted permanent status and a monthly salary of Rs 30,000. Furthermore, JEEViKA didis with outstanding loans will not be required to pay any interest,” he added.
Tejashwi Yadav also stated that if his party, the RJD, regains power in Bihar, contract workers will also be regularized.
“Should we return to power, we will ensure all contract workers are made permanent. These two announcements mark significant progress,” he concluded.
