Patna, Oct 28 (NationPress) The chief ministerial candidate for the Grand Alliance and RJD leader, Tejashwi Yadav, has accused the NDA of trying to colonize Bihar, urging government officials to uphold the Constitution and ensure free and fair elections.

At the unveiling of the Grand Alliance's 25-point manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election 2025, Tejashwi emphasized that the manifesto, developed through extensive research and expert input, focuses on job creation and social welfare.

A pivotal commitment in the manifesto is the promise of one government job for one member of every family, he stated.

Tejashwi also criticized the BJP for its lack of transparency regarding its leadership in Bihar, highlighting that despite significant campaigning by Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, and other senior figures, there has been no announcement of Nitish Kumar as the NDA’s chief ministerial candidate.

“We have presented the Grand Alliance's joint manifesto, yet the NDA has not released theirs. What is their plan for Bihar? Why are they silent about the chief ministerial candidate? This silence raises questions,” Tejashwi remarked.

He claimed that the NDA lacks any vision for Bihar's development. “While we aim to elevate Bihar to the top, they are solely focused on seizing control,” he asserted.

Tejashwi accused the NDA government of attempting to manipulate the electoral process in Bihar through administrative pressure and the misuse of central forces. “For the first time, we are witnessing the deployment of 1,500 companies of paramilitary forces during this election,” he noted.

He revealed allegations that certain officials were instructed in a recent video conference to delay polling in areas where Grand Alliance candidates hold strength. He urged these officials to adhere to their constitutional oath and warned against allowing Bihar to fall into a state of dictatorship or vote theft.

Tejashwi assured that the Grand Alliance would implement strict videography measures at polling stations to guard against any electoral malpractice.

“The people of Bihar and we will not tolerate any deceitful or oppressive policies. I implore all government officials to operate with integrity and impartiality, following the Constitution,” he added.

He expressed confidence that the people of Bihar are prepared for change, stating that they will have an opportunity on November 6 and November 11 to elect a government committed to job creation, education, and development—promising they won't miss this chance.

Tejashwi further condemned the current administration for alleged corruption and governance failures, referencing the Srijan scam, the Muzaffarpur shelter-home case, and a CAG-identified Rs 70,000 crore irregularity.

He accused the bureaucracy of stifling the voices of elected representatives, insisting that this must come to an end.

Outlining the development goals of the manifesto, Tejashwi pledged a job-and-investment-centric agenda focusing on industries, food-processing units, agro-based projects, IT parks, world-class universities, and super-specialty hospitals for Bihar.

“We will fulfill every promise made in the manifesto, even at the cost of our lives,” he declared.
