New Delhi, Oct 15 (NationPress) As the Bihar Assembly elections approach and coalitions intensify their strategies, Union Minister Giriraj Singh expressed strong assurance regarding the NDA's prospects statewide, especially in the Lakhisarai district.
During a press conference, he endorsed Deputy Chief Minister and BJP representative Vijay Sinha for the constituency, asserting that the BJP is poised to claim victory in both district seats.
Singh further stated to IANS, "The BJP candidate is the Deputy CM, Vijay Sinha, under whose leadership Lakhisarai and Bihar are witnessing substantial development. We will secure both seats in the district."
BJP’s Bihar State President Dilip Kumar Jaiswal also shared insights on the NDA coalition's effective ticket distribution.
“The allocation of seats and decisions related to constituencies have been deliberated among all parties involved. Following thorough discussions, each party is now revealing its candidates. As Dharmendra Pradhan indicated, in situations requiring mutual consensus on one or two seats, resolutions were achieved promptly. A consensus has been established across the 242 seats where necessary.”
On behalf of the LJP (Ram Vilas), MP Rajesh Verma reassured that the alliance remains robust.
“Everything is very positive and constructive, and soon you will see the outcomes of our efforts. Starting tomorrow, the symbols for candidates will also be distributed,” he conveyed.
Earlier, RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha announced: “I am heading to Delhi to discuss outstanding matters regarding the NDA’s decisions.”
This sparked inquiries about any internal discord, but Union MoS for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai mitigated concerns, asserting: “Upendra Kushwaha stated that everything is fine and will be alright.”
In spite of minor setbacks, the NDA is striving to maintain a united front as Bihar gears up for the elections.
The Bihar Assembly elections are set to unfold in two phases on November 6 and November 11, 2025, with results slated for November 14, 2025. The BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each, while the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will battle for 29 seats, along with smaller allies, Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), each on 6 seats.
