Jaipur, Dec 8 (NationPress) The Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Diya Kumari, along with Urban Development & Housing Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, held a session aimed at addressing grievances for BJP workers from across the state at the BJP headquarters on Monday.
Present at the session were BJP State Vice President Jyoti Mirdha and State General Secretary Kailash Meghwal.
Kumari noted that a significant number of grievances from various districts were received, many of which have already been referred to the appropriate departments for action.
She remarked that in several cases, officials were contacted directly to facilitate immediate resolutions.
This initiative, launched under the guidance of BJP State President Madan Rathore and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, aims to enhance the speed of resolving grassroots concerns.
“Our party workers are our backbone. We are dedicated to ensuring that every complaint is followed up until resolution. We will maintain strict monitoring every 48 hours,” she emphasized.
In a critique of the former government, she stated, “For five years, the Congress government disregarded the issues faced by workers. In contrast, the BJP prioritizes grievance redressal for both the public and party workers, with ministers conducting these sessions bi-weekly.”
Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra reported that nearly 150 workers raised complaints regarding development projects, encroachments, administrative delays, and various civic issues.
“These complaints are currently under review after receiving reports from the relevant departments,” he elaborated.
Pointing fingers at Congress, he asserted that if they wish to hold municipal and panchayat elections without OBC reservation, they should openly acknowledge it.
He claimed that the reservation process can only move forward after fulfilling the necessary legal procedures, as mandated by the courts, and that the Backward Classes Commission is following protocol.
State Office Secretary Mukesh Pareek announced that the next grievance session for workers is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, from 11 AM to 1 PM, presided over by Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena and Energy Minister Hira Lal Nagar.
He added that BJP State Vice President Sarita Geena and State General Secretary Shravan Singh Bagdi will also be in attendance.
Workers may submit their grievances after recommendations from their Mandal President, District Office Bearer, or State Office Bearer, along with the prescribed form.
