Srinagar, June 5 (NationPress) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) executed a significant operation on Thursday, conducting extensive searches throughout the Kashmir Valley as part of an ongoing probe into terror conspiracies orchestrated by Pakistan-backed banned terrorist groups and their affiliates aimed at undermining Jammu and Kashmir, as reported by an official.

According to a statement from the NIA, "A total of thirty-two sites within the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir were targeted in today's operation. The statement continued: "These organizations, aided by their leaders in Pakistan, have been hatchings plots to execute acts of terror and violence by radicalizing local youth and mobilizing overground workers to disrupt peace and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Investigations have uncovered that operatives based in Pakistan were utilizing social media and online applications to promote and facilitate terror activities. Drones were employed to transport arms, ammunition, explosives, and narcotics to operatives in the Kashmir Valley.

"During the searches, two live cartridges, one fired bullet head, and one bayonet were seized. Additionally, numerous digital devices containing substantial amounts of incriminating data and documents were recovered by the NIA. These materials will undergo rigorous examination by the agency to uncover further details regarding the terrorist conspiracy. The NIA is committed to continuing its investigation into this case," the NIA statement concluded.
