New Delhi, July 26 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, engaged with 201 working women in the Burari region of north Delhi on Saturday. These women were recipients of interest-free loans aimed at enhancing their businesses and improving their livelihoods.

“The welfare of women is our foremost priority. We are committed to facilitating the economic upliftment of working women through numerous initiatives,” remarked the Chief Minister, commending social organizations for their crucial role in transformative efforts that contribute significantly to the nation.

The event in Burari was marked by a grand welcome for the Chief Minister, with the route from Burari Bypass to Swaroop Nagar beautifully decorated, according to an official statement.

As she made her entrance, local residents showered her with flowers and chanted slogans supporting the government.

Among those present were Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari, MLAs Ajay Mahawar and Rajkumar Bhatia, Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh, and the Leader of the House in the Municipal Corporation Pravesh Wahi.

Notable social activists and community leaders such as Dayanand, a member of the Provincial Executive of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, along with Ravi Bansal and Kiran Chopra, also attended.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated new sewer lines in the TP, VP, LP, and HD blocks of Pitampura, constructed at a cost of Rs 60 lakh. She also unveiled a newly built road between SP-1 and SP-65, developed with an investment of Rs 11 lakh.

CM Gupta announced that tenders worth Rs 91 lakh for connecting additional lanes in SP and TP blocks are currently underway. She highlighted that these projects are being executed systematically to yield long-term advantages for residents.

Additionally, she launched the Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) pipeline project worth Rs 54 lakh in VP and FP blocks, alongside new RMC roads in JP and KP blocks costing Rs 35 lakh.

A specially designed play area for children in JP Block, developed at a cost of Rs 6 lakh, was also inaugurated. Furthermore, RMC roads valued at Rs 1.35 crore are being constructed in JP, KP, MP, and LP blocks, and a high-mast light has been installed in JD Block at a cost of Rs 2 lakh.

CM Rekha Gupta also revealed the launch of 15 new ‘Arogya Mandirs’ aimed at improving primary healthcare services in the constituency.

She added that a long-neglected building near Max Hospital will soon be transformed into a state-of-the-art super-specialty hospital.

New water and sewer pipelines are being laid across all blocks to meet essential infrastructure needs before the commencement of road construction.

During her visit, the Chief Minister inspected the road-widening project from Prembari Bridge to Singalpur village and instructed officials to expedite its completion.

She also laid the foundation stone for a new U-turn at NSP-Madhuban Chowk on Lala Jagat Narayan Marg, with an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakh.
