On December 11, Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of the Tourist Facility Centre located at Kesariya in East Champaran. During his visit, he evaluated the progress of the auditorium and various amenities designed for tourists at the site.

Kumar urged officials to accelerate the completion of the project, emphasizing that the Kesariya Buddhist Stupa draws numerous tourists from both India and abroad. He noted that this new facility would greatly improve visitor experience while highlighting Bihar’s rich Buddhist heritage.

A standout feature of this centre will be a 5D theatre that can accommodate 48 viewers, showcasing visual presentations on significant Buddhist teachings.

Moreover, the complex will include a Bihar Pavilion, displaying frames and educational materials that reflect the state’s historical and cultural legacy.

In total, over 90 sculptures are set to be installed in dedicated display cases, while artistic sculptures will beautify the open areas.

Additionally, eight replicas of notable Buddhist monuments from Bihar will be strategically positioned in the four corners of the complex.

The Chief Minister also took the time to inspect the Kesariya Buddhist Stupa complex, assessing the ongoing preservation and development efforts.

He directed officials to prioritize safety and ensure proper maintenance of tourist facilities.

As part of his visit, Nitish Kumar reviewed the Health and Wellness Centre in Tajpur village.

He examined medical services and engaged with the attending doctor regarding cleanliness, availability of medicines, free vaccinations, and overall service quality.

Kumar also distributed Ayushman cards to beneficiaries and instructed officials to widen the access road leading to the centre for better accessibility.

At the grounds of the Higher Secondary School in Tajpur, the Chief Minister visited various stalls and interacted with villagers, including Jeevika Didis, cooks, Anganwadi workers, Mamata workers, Vikas Mitras, Talimi Markaz workers, and Tola Sevaks.

He encouraged them to persist in their dedication and assured them that their needs were being addressed.

Later, Nitish Kumar visited the Kasturba Gandhi Residential School, engaging with hostel students about the facilities and advising them to pursue their studies diligently.

He also inaugurated and assessed the newly constructed school library, assuring the students of the government's commitment to their education and overall development.
