Has Nityanand Rai Condemned Congress and RJD for AI Video Mocking PM Modi’s Mother?

Patna, Sep 12 (NationPress) The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, launched a fierce attack on the Bihar Congress for their release of an AI-manipulated video that features Prime Minister Narendra Modi alongside his late mother. He labeled this act as a deliberate insult driven by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav.

Rai accused the Congress and RJD of consistently targeting the Prime Minister and his family, demonstrating a blatant disregard for the people of Bihar.

“The honored Prime Minister and his beloved mother are being subjected to repeated slurs at the urging of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. Previously, they hurled insults during the Ghuspathiya Bachao Yatra (BJP leaders had renamed the Voter Adhikar Yatra to this), and now they have once again stooped to mocking the PM’s mother. The people of Bihar will correct their course yet again, just as they have done in the past,” Rai stated.

Recalling historical events, the former Bihar BJP president and Ujiarpur MP reminded the Congress of the mass movement initiated against the Emergency led by Jay Prakash Narayan.

“If Rahul Gandhi remembers history, he should not forget how Bihar initiated the movement that ousted Congress from power,” he added.

Rai also directly confronted RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav: “If Tejashwi Yadav had any respect for Bihar, he would have severed ties with Congress after the Kerala Congress insulted Biharis. Instead, he chose to remain silent, which shows that the dignity of Bihar means nothing to him. The reality is that Rahul Gandhi is merely a pawn for Tejashwi, who has taken on the role of disparaging Biharis.”

He cautioned the leaders of the INDIA alliance, stating, “The repercussions of insulting 14 crore residents of Bihar will not be favorable. Tejashwi Yadav embodies a culture of abuse, nepotism, and lawlessness, whereas the NDA embodies development and a vision for a prosperous Bihar.”

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary added to the criticism, saying: “The Congress has hit rock bottom. By misusing AI to mock the late mother of the Prime Minister, they have revealed their mental bankruptcy. This is an affront to every mother in the country, and Bihar does not forgive those who dishonor mothers.”

Cabinet Minister Santosh Singh echoed this sentiment, remarking, “Insulting Biharis is synonymous with Congress and RJD. The mothers of Bihar will respond decisively in 2025. Everyone is aware that RJD is synonymous with corruption and abduction.”

The Bihar Congress video depicts PM Modi going to bed after claiming, “vote chori has completed for the day.”

In a dream sequence, his mother reprimands him for making her wait in lines during demonetization, for filming her while he washes her feet, and for exploiting her name in Bihar's political landscape.

The video concludes with the mother’s voice questioning, “How much lower will you stoop for politics?”

This controversy arises during a sensitive period, with Pitru Paksha rituals currently being observed in Bihar, as the Assembly election campaign intensifies.

NDA leaders are anticipated to amplify their calls for an apology, creating a new flashpoint between the BJP-JDU and the Congress-led INDIA bloc.
