Patna, Jan 15 (NationPress) In light of rumors regarding Tej Pratap Yadav, the leader of the Janshakti Janata Dal, possibly joining the NDA, Chirag Paswan, President of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), stated on Thursday that any potential developments should be addressed collectively by NDA partners only after a formal proposal is presented.

"Until a formal decision is made, it is inappropriate to comment on this matter. He hails from a family that is also mine. However, family ties are one aspect, while politics is entirely different. Tej Pratap Yadav is my younger brother, and I have immense affection and best wishes for him," he remarked.

These comments were made during a traditional Makar Sankranti 'Dahi-Chura' gathering at the LJP-RV office in Patna.

The event saw the presence of several senior leaders from the NDA, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, former Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, and other notable figures.

Chirag Paswan also conveyed his best wishes to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his upcoming Samridhi Yatra, which is set to commence from Bettiah in the West Champaran district on Friday.

Our discussions centered around how to promote the 'Bihar First, Bihari First' initiative at the grassroots level. Our entire alliance is focused on transforming Bihar into a developed state. This aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047," Paswan stated.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, while speaking to the media, offered his greetings to the people of Bihar on Makar Sankranti and shared his best wishes for Nitish Kumar's forthcoming yatra.
