Bhubaneswar, June 8 (NationPress) The Odisha government is considering the implementation of a ban on the sale of non-vegetarian food and alcoholic beverages within a 2 km radius of the Jagannath Temple in Puri and along the Bada Danda (grand road), the vibrant main thoroughfare of this revered coastal city.
During a press briefing, Odisha's Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan stated that establishments selling alcohol or non-vegetarian items will be prohibited within the designated area surrounding the temple.
