Jammu, Jan 5 (NationPress) An aged shell was found by security personnel in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, which was later disposed of without incident, according to officials.
Authorities revealed that the shell was located in the Mendhar area of Poonch.
"Local residents spotted the shell in the Upper Ghani area of the Mankote sector at approximately 11:15 am. They promptly informed the Police Post Balnoi, who then alerted the army for further action. An army team arrived, examined the shell, and safely disposed of it following standard safety protocols," an official stated.
