OP Rajbhar Anticipates Major Win for NDA in Milkipur By-Polls

Lucknow, Jan 8 (NationPress) With the political temperature rising ahead of the Assembly by-elections in Ayodhya's Milkipur, the exchange of barbs is escalating. Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) President OP Rajbhar stated on Wednesday that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to register a substantial victory in the approaching electoral battle.
His remarks followed comments from Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav, who indicated that the Milkipur by-polls would be a "just election" that the nation and the globe would observe, referencing the Mahakumbh event occurring in the state during the by-elections on February 5. He further criticized the state's law and order situation and extended an invitation to national media to witness the "fair elections" in Milkipur.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has recently disclosed the timeline for the Milkipur by-polls, scheduled for February 5.
In an interview with IANS, Rajbhar took a swipe at the Samajwadi Party, asserting that they "do not believe in Lord Ram".
Referring to an invitation from Uttar Pradesh's Speaker to visit Ayodhya, he pointed out that no SP leader had come forward to seek the blessings of Lord Ram. He emphasized that the NDA is on a path to victory in Milkipur, under the blessings of Lord Ram.
Rajbhar continued his critique, lambasting the Samajwadi Party for its appeasement politics.
He accused the party of facilitating the BJP's ascent in other states, stating, "This is their history; this Samajwadi Party went to Madhya Pradesh, defeated Congress, and aided BJP in forming the government. Muslims nationwide, including the Uttar Pradesh Congress president, assert that the Samajwadi Party helped the BJP emerge victorious in Uttarakhand as well."
Rajbhar also addressed the preparations for the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, assuring that the Uttar Pradesh government is fully equipped to manage any situation for this major Hindu event, which is anticipated to attract millions of devotees to the Triveni Sangam.
The Maha Kumbh Mela, one of the most revered and significant festivals in Hinduism, occurs once every 12 years and draws millions of devotees and pilgrims from around the world. The 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela is set to commence on January 13, 2025, beginning with the Paush Purnima Snan and concluding on February 26, 2025, coinciding with Maha Shivratri.
