New Delhi, Aug 1 (NationPress) A report from the Intelligence Bureau reveals that approximately 15 new terror camps and launch pads are being established in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) with the intent to execute attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. Following the Pahalgam incident in April, Pakistan's terror infrastructure faced substantial damage. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor, resulting in the destruction of significant terror facilities in Pakistan.

These facilities included the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammad located in Bahawalpur and the primary training center of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.

Indian Intelligence sources indicate that terror organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad are receiving financial backing from the ISI and the Pakistan Army to reconstruct their camps.

The Pakistani establishment is also directly involved in this reconstruction using modern techniques. Notably, the facilities in Bahawalpur and Muridke are not being rebuilt at their original locations. Instead, they are being relocated closer to military areas, where the army and ISI believe that Indian armed forces might find it challenging to target, similar to the situation during Operation Sindoor.

While terror training camps are being set up deep within Pakistan, some are also being constructed in PoK. The current strategy aims to evade Indian surveillance and protect these targets from Indian military action.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that Operation Sindoor remains active, warning that Pakistan will face consequences for any aggressive actions.

Additionally, the new terror camps will accommodate a reduced number of terrorists, with each camp and launch pad housing between 20 and 25 individuals.

In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, numerous meetings have occurred between top leaders of terror groups and some officials in Pakistan. Currently, all groups, including Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and Hizbul Mujahideen, are collaborating closely.

The primary objective is to rebuild and train terrorists at launch pads for infiltration into India. These groups are also expected to establish launch pads near forested areas at the Line of Control in PoK.

High-tech facilities are being planned to evade detection by Indian security agencies. Furthermore, a large-scale recruitment initiative is underway. According to Indian estimates, nearly 100 terrorists were killed during Operation Sindoor.

Although these organizations may not face obstacles in recruiting from within Pakistan, they encounter challenges with locals in Jammu and Kashmir. With Indian agencies on high alert, local recruitment efforts have stagnated.

While there are numerous overground workers in Jammu and Kashmir, the recruitment of terrorists has proven difficult for the Pakistan-based terror organizations. Indian intelligence agencies caution that any active complicity could prompt Pakistan to activate its overground workers and initiate a recruitment drive among local populations.
