New Delhi, Jan 16 (NationPress) The former BJP MP Parvesh Verma, who has submitted his nomination for the forthcoming Assembly elections from the New Delhi constituency on Wednesday, has revealed his total assets.
Parvesh Verma, an MBA graduate from the Fore School of Management, has reported movable assets amounting to Rs 77.89 crore and immovable assets estimated at Rs 12.19 crore. His spouse holds movable assets worth Rs 17.53 crore and immovable assets valued at Rs 6.91 crore.
The BJP member identifies business and social service as his main income sources, while his wife is engaged in private employment and social initiatives.
Verma has indicated a cash reserve of Rs 2.2 lakh. His vehicle collection includes three cars: a Toyota Fortuner (valued at Rs 9 lakh), a Toyota Innova (worth Rs 36 lakh), and an XUV (appraised at Rs 11.77 lakh).
In terms of precious metals, the BJP politician possesses 200 grams of gold valued at Rs 8.25 lakh, while his wife holds 1.11 kg of gold estimated at Rs 45.75 lakh.
Furthermore, Verma’s two daughters have 300 grams of gold each worth Rs 12.35 lakh, and his son owns 150 grams of gold valued at Rs 6.17 lakh.
Verma currently faces a defamation lawsuit initiated by former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia regarding allegations of corruption in the capital’s educational institutions, among other legal issues.
Earlier today, prior to submitting his nomination for the Assembly elections, Parvesh Verma visited the Gauri Shankar temple in the national capital and organized a roadshow that attracted a significant crowd.
