Ahmedabad, June 24 (NationPress) Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, praised the Indian Armed Forces for their commendable execution of Operation Sindoor, emphasizing that their valor teaches us that peace is not a gift, but a privilege earned through sacrifice.
Speaking at the Annual General Meeting of Adani Enterprises, he remarked that during Operation Sindoor, "our courageous service members stood firm, not seeking accolades or medals, but fulfilling their duty to the nation".
"Their bravery serves as a reminder that peace is not free, but something we earn. The freedom to dream, innovate, and lead rests upon the sacrifices of those who protect us. Operation Sindoor illustrated that India values peace, yet we are prepared to respond decisively to threats," stated the billionaire leader while addressing the shareholders of the Adani Group.
Operation Sindoor was initiated last month to target terrorist installations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Gautam Adani expressed that he feels "humbled by the silent sacrifices" made by those who defend India’s borders, families, and dignity, highlighting that the Adani Defence’s drones played a vital role in Operation Sindoor.
"In terms of Adani Defence -- when Operation Sindoor called, we answered. Our drones served as both vigilant eyes in the sky and potent weapons in combat, while our anti-drone systems ensured the safety of our forces and civilians. As I have always believed, we don’t operate in safe zones; we operate where India needs us the most," Gautam Adani emphasized.
The Chairman of the Adani Group also honored the victims of the Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, which tragically occurred shortly after takeoff towards London.
"We mourn the lives lost in the unfortunate Air India flight crash," he remarked. "So many aspirations were extinguished in a moment," Gautam Adani concluded.
