New Delhi, Nov 8 (NationPress) As Bihar approaches the second phase of Assembly elections, BJP leaders emphasized the remarkable progress made under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership and the NDA government, claiming significant public backing for their reinstatement.
State BJP President Dilip Jaiswal stated, “The citizens of Bihar recognize the advancements that have occurred under Nitish Kumar’s governance and the NDA administration. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released vital resources for Bihar, and the community values the growth and development achieved under the NDA.”
In agreement, BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain commented on the results of the first voting phase, saying, “The initial voting phase clearly indicates that the NDA is on track to form the government with a decisive majority. Under Nitish Kumar’s guidance, with the support of Prime Minister Modi and the strategic planning of HM Amit Shah, it is clear that the populace of Bihar is ready to reinstate the NDA with full vigor.”
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari shared insights from his extensive travels throughout the state.
He remarked, “I have journeyed across Patna, from Aara to Chhapra, and observed the tremendous development taking place. Modern bridges, highways extending thousands of kilometers, and roadside plantings in every village highlight the progress. Healthcare facilities have significantly improved, with new hospitals established in villages like Atarwalia.”
Tiwari continued, “Throughout my travels in Bihar, I have sensed the prevailing feelings of the people. Tales of ‘Jungle Raj’ persist. Even after 25 years, many believe that the previous misgovernance mindset still lingers. A considerable number of their supporters are now leaning towards the NDA.”
On the other hand, the Opposition raised concerns. Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Hasan countered, stating, “This is unacceptable. Consider the government that has been in power for the last 10 or 20 years. Unemployment is at an all-time high, and bringing up these issues only during election season will have no impact.”
With the second phase of voting set for November 11, Bihar is experiencing vigorous campaigning from all leading political factions, with leaders underscoring development, governance, and public welfare as pivotal election themes.
The BJP seems confident in capitalizing on its developmental achievements and infrastructure initiatives to strengthen its voter base, while Opposition parties are concentrating on issues like unemployment and governance shortcomings.
