New Delhi, Oct 22 (NationPress) Union Minister and founder of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), Jitan Ram Manjhi, launched a fierce critique against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday. He accused Yadav of deceiving the public with false promises of job creation and asserted that Yadav, along with the Mahagathbandhan leaders, are making misleading assertions in an attempt to influence voters ahead of the elections.

In an interview with IANS, Manjhi stated, “Whether it’s Tejashwi Yadav or any other individual who remains outside the government and shows no signs of rejoining, they can make numerous claims. You might have heard them assert that they will create jobs in every household.”

“They are misleading the populace with untruths. The citizens of Bihar are aware of their strategies. Nitish Kumar is actively working for the advancement of Bihar because he possesses the capability to do so. These individuals lack the ability to accomplish anything and simply propagate false claims. The public should not trust them,” he emphasized.

Supporting Manjhi’s statements, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also condemned Yadav's job promises.

“These individuals merely make grandiose promises. Previously, they claimed they would provide government jobs to 2.7 crore people. However, for 15 years, their family exploited Bihar. The population of Bihar has witnessed this. Their entire family couldn’t even secure government jobs for 1 lakh individuals, and everyone in Bihar is aware of this,” Choudhary remarked, referring to the RJD’s governance under Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi.

These remarks were a reaction to Tejashwi Yadav’s press conference held at his Polo Road residence on Wednesday, where he made two significant announcements ahead of the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

During the press conference, Yadav declared, “The people of Bihar are ready for change. They are suffering from poverty, inflation, and unemployment. The pledges we made previously were imitated by the Nitish government. Today, we are unveiling two major announcements for the people of Bihar, which will be enacted as soon as the Mahagathbandhan government is established. What Tejashwi Yadav promises, he delivers. During our 17-month tenure, we honored the commitments we made in the last election.”

Point of View

It is crucial to approach this issue with impartiality. The accusations between political leaders highlight the intense rivalry in Bihar's electoral politics. Voters must critically evaluate the promises made by candidates, ensuring that they are informed and engaged in the democratic process.
