In a post on X, PM Modi remarked: "Earlier this evening, I chaired the 48th PRAGATI Session. Our discussions centered on infrastructure, particularly in the sectors of mines, railways, and water resources. I emphasized the importance of completing projects on time. We also addressed the Prime Minister-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission and the necessity to enhance health services in aspirational districts, as well as tribal and border regions."

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi evaluated critical infrastructure initiatives in the Mines, Railways, and Water Resources sectors during the meeting.

"These initiatives, crucial for economic development and public welfare, were analyzed with an emphasis on deadlines, inter-agency collaboration, and resolving issues," the statement detailed.

It highlighted that PM Modi pointed out that delays in project implementation lead to increased financial costs and deprive citizens of timely access to vital services and infrastructure. He urged officials from both Central and State levels to adopt a results-oriented mindset to convert opportunities into tangible improvements in people's lives.

While reviewing the Prime Minister-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM), he called on all states to expedite the enhancement of health infrastructure, particularly in Aspirational Districts, remote, tribal, and border areas.

"He emphasized the necessity of ensuring equal access to quality healthcare for the underprivileged and marginalized, urging immediate and sustained efforts to address the existing gaps in vital health services across these regions. PM Modi indicated that PM-ABHIM presents a golden opportunity for states to fortify their primary, tertiary, and specialized health infrastructure at Block, District, and State levels to offer quality healthcare and services," the statement noted.

PM Modi also assessed commendable practices promoting Aatmanirbharta in the defense sector, implemented by various Ministries, Departments, and States/UTs.

He praised these initiatives for their strategic importance and their ability to stimulate innovation within the defense ecosystem.

"Highlighting their broader significance, the Prime Minister referenced the success of Operation Sindoor, executed using indigenous capabilities, as a strong affirmation of India’s evolving self-reliance in the defense sector," the statement revealed.

PM Modi also pointed out how states could seize the opportunity to enhance the ecosystem and contribute to Aatmanirbharta in the defense sector.
