Jaipur, Sep 25 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Banswara on Thursday to unveil 12 significant initiatives and projects spanning multiple sectors for 21 districts in Rajasthan. These efforts are designed to bolster infrastructure, employment, and welfare. The Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate and lay the groundwork for numerous development projects, including the ₹42,000 crore Mahi-Banswara nuclear power plant.
The Mahi Nuclear power facility in Banswara district is anticipated to revolutionize the energy sector in Rajasthan.
Furthermore, PM Modi will initiate 15 drinking water projects across 15 districts, with an investment of ₹5,884 crore, aimed at ensuring access to safe and reliable drinking water.
In a significant boost for employment, the Prime Minister will distribute appointment letters to 15,000 youth for various government roles. The recruitment includes 5,778 animal attendants, 4,197 junior assistants, 1,800 junior instructors, 1,464 junior engineers, 1,200 third-grade teachers (Level-2), among other positions and compassionate appointments.
This marks PM Modi's 16th visit to Rajasthan since the BJP assumed power at the national level. From Banswara, he will unveil and lay the foundation for projects totaling ₹1.22 lakh crore.
Out of this, ₹1.8 lakh crore is allocated for Rajasthan, while the rest will benefit Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and other states.
During this event, PM Modi will also launch three new trains via video conferencing, which include the Bikaner–Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express, Jodhpur–Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express, and the Udaipur City–Chandigarh Express.
The Prime Minister will connect with beneficiaries of the Kusum Yojana, showcasing the government's dedication to clean energy and rural empowerment.
Senior figures, including Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, will attend the event.
