New Delhi, Feb 10 (NationPress) The eighth edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship event, 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' (PPC), commenced on Monday at 11 a.m. at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi.
This initiative is designed to alleviate exam stress and foster a positive approach to learning, garnering enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents.
The event was streamed live across various platforms, enabling students nationwide to gain insights from PM Modi regarding exam preparation, stress management, and personal growth.
Numerous students shared how interacting with the Prime Minister motivated them to remain focused on their academic pursuits and maintain a stress-free mindset.
Akanksha, a student from Kerala, presented a poem in front of PM Modi, describing the experience as a “joyful” moment.
The Prime Minister addressed the students about the pressures linked to exam results, stating, “Our society is such that low grades create a tense environment in the house. This is something that you cannot teach your parents.” He advised students to concentrate solely on their goals, avoiding external distractions.
Using a cricket analogy, he remarked, “A batsman ignores the audience and distractions and only focuses on the ball.”
PM Modi highlighted the significance of overcoming challenges, stating, “You have to train your mind to understand how to challenge yourself. One should always push their limits.”
He also discussed leadership qualities, mentioning, “A leader becomes a leader when he practices what he preaches and understands the issues of the people.”
Emphasizing the importance of earning respect, he remarked, “Respect cannot be demanded. Your behaviour will earn respect for you; people accept actions, not just words.”
A vital aspect of the session was PM Modi's guidance on maintaining good health during exams. He stressed the importance of sleep, stating, “Absence of illness does not mean we're healthy. Sleep is also dependent on nutrition. Medical science emphasizes the role of sleep.”
Encouraging students to enjoy morning sunlight, he inquired about their routines. Two students from the Northeast noted that they regularly bask in the sun during their morning assemblies due to early sunrises in the region.
The Prime Minister also underscored the importance of including millets and vegetables in students' diets, especially during exam periods, reinforcing the concept of holistic well-being.
This year's 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' is notable for the participation of 36 students from various government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, and Navodaya Vidyalayas.
These students not only had the chance to engage with PM Modi but also benefited from motivational talks by experts from various fields.
PPC 2025 will consist of seven insightful episodes, featuring renowned personalities such as Deepika Padukone, Sadhguru, Mary Kom, Vikrant Massey, and Rujuta Diwekar, who will discuss holistic development, managing pressures, and sustaining a positive mindset during exams.
With a record-breaking participation of 5 crore students, this initiative has evolved into a nationwide movement.
Over the years, 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' has transformed into a 'Jan Andolan', inspiring collective involvement in celebrating learning, personal growth, and student well-being.
