Greater Noida (UP), Sep 25 (NationPress) - Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 in Greater Noida on Thursday, engaging with numerous entrepreneurs who were presenting their products and projects at the exhibition.
Abhishek Grover, an entrepreneur benefiting from the CM Yuva Yojana and PM Vishwakarma scheme, mentioned that both PM Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed interest in his company's future plans and youth engagement.
"We are collaborating with the Uttar Pradesh government to empower not just the youth, but also women and the disabled. This trade show serves as an excellent avenue to highlight our brands and boost youth involvement in the business sector," Grover conveyed to IANS.
Nishat Mirza, who attended the trade show for the second time, regarded her conversation with the Prime Minister as a "proud moment."
"PM Modi inquired about our products and commended our efforts," she stated.
Rahul Tyagi from Addverb, a global robotics firm, noted that Modi visited their exhibit and interacted with CEO Sangeet Kumar.
"It was a thrilling experience for us, and our company was filled with joy and enthusiasm," Tyagi remarked.
Pooja Mishra, representing the high-tech manufacturer Raphe Mphibr, reported that the Prime Minister met their Chairman, Vikas Mishra, to discuss the firm’s role in achieving self-reliance in defense.
Meanwhile, Mishra highlighted that their facility is considered the best in India for several reasons.
"We currently employ 700 individuals and have assured CM Yogi that this will increase to 10,000 in the next three to four years. We are dedicated to fostering skill development," Mishra added.
Industry representatives mentioned that the trade show acts as a crucial platform for businesses to present their innovations and engage with policymakers, underlining India’s commitment to youth empowerment, technology, and self-reliance.
The India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida is hosting the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025, showcasing the state’s strengths in innovation, industry, agriculture, and culture globally, from September 25 to 29.
Russia is serving as the partner nation for this five-day event, which will attract leaders from the global industry.
Due to anticipated significant traffic disruptions, the event is expected to attract large crowds, resulting in considerable traffic restrictions throughout Greater Noida.
