Jodhpur, April 11 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the Navkar Mahamantra Divas event on Wednesday. He expressed profound admiration for the spiritual significance of the Navkar Mantra, highlighting its power to foster peace and stability within the mind. Modi also discussed nine resolutions, underscoring that integrating them into daily life can lead to a state of serenity and tranquility.

His recitation of the Navkar Mantra left the Jain community in awe, although many were not surprised due to his longstanding engagement with Jainism.

Shripal Lodha, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Uma Group in Jodhpur, shared similar sentiments, describing the Prime Minister as a ‘University in himself.’

“The Prime Minister has consistently maintained a profound bond with Jain saints and the Jain community. I have no doubt regarding his memory or knowledge,” stated Shripal Lodha.

He went on to say, “PM Modi embodies Nalanda University and has dedicated his life to promoting peace across the globe. Any words of gratitude I express will always fall short.”

Reflecting on his encounter with PM Modi, he remarked, “I felt revitalized. It is a matter of great pride for me to have been in close proximity to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

While addressing the 'Navkar Mahamantra Diwas' event at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi, PM Modi stated that the Navkar Mantra transcends being just a mantra; it symbolizes humility, peace, and universal harmony.

“The Navkar Mantra is genuinely a mantra of human meditation, practice, and self-purification,” PM Modi exclaimed, emphasizing its global relevance and enduring nature, akin to other Indian oral and scriptural traditions that have been transmitted through generations—initially orally, then via inscriptions, and eventually through Prakrit manuscripts—continuing to guide humanity today.

“The Navkar Mantra, along with revering the Panch Parmeshthi, represents right knowledge, right perception, and right conduct, serving as a pathway to liberation,” he stressed.
