Navroz, which translates to "new day" in Persian, is an ancient celebration marking the first day of spring and the start of the Iranian calendar year.

It is observed by Parsis and others of Persian or Iranian heritage across the globe.

For over 3,000 years, Navroz has roots in Zoroastrianism, symbolizing nature's rebirth and the victory of good over evil.

The festival dates back to the Achaemenid Empire, the first Persian Empire, and has evolved over time, integrating cultural traditions from various communities.

Beyond celebrating the changing seasons, Navroz serves as a spiritual occasion for people to reflect on the past year and welcome new beginnings with hope and optimism.

It remains a vital cultural event in many nations influenced by the Persian Empire.
