New Delhi, Dec 18 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to speak at the closing ceremony of the second WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine, as announced by the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday.
This three-day event, taking place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, highlights India's increasing leadership and innovative efforts in establishing a global, science-driven, and community-focused traditional medicine agenda.
According to the PMO, “Prime Minister Modi has consistently advocated for the integration of traditional medicine and the Indian Knowledge System through research, standardization, and international collaboration.”
During the summit, the Prime Minister will introduce several significant Ayush initiatives, including the My Ayush Integrated Services Portal (MAISP), which will serve as a comprehensive digital platform for the Ayush sector. He will also launch the Ayush Mark, designed to be a global standard for the quality of Ayush products and services.
Additionally, PM Modi is anticipated to present the WHO technical report on Yoga training and the book “From Roots to Global Reach: 11 Years of Transformation in Ayush”.
