Patna, Oct 24 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigns in Bihar, BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain stated on Friday that the PM's visit significantly enhances the election momentum across the state.
In a conversation with IANS, Hussain remarked, “Whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Bihar, a wave of joy spreads throughout the state. The people of Bihar have a profound affection for him due to his extensive contributions. His presence today will create tremendous momentum for the entire election. The current wave in our favor is set to evolve into a storm.”
In response to comments made by AIMIM leader Waris Pathan, who criticized the Mahagathbandhan for neglecting Muslim leadership despite their significant voter base, Hussain articulated, “They have garnered Muslim votes but provided no representation. There is no room for Muslims in the RJD. They have deceived even in seat allocation. What kind of MY (Mukesh Sahani–Tejashwi Yadav) equation is this? It’s utterly unacceptable. Lalu Yadav has forcibly positioned Tejashwi Yadav as the CM face for Congress, while Mukesh Sahani has declared himself Deputy CM.”
Hussain also targeted the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, stating, “When Rahul Gandhi visited Bihar, he was under the misconception that the Congress remained a formidable force. However, Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav showcased Congress’ actual standing. The party has completely surrendered. This is why Rahul Gandhi no longer mentions Bihar. Pappu Yadav still claims that votes for him will be in Rahul’s name, but RJD leaders don’t regard Rahul as a factor at all.”
Addressing Tejashwi Yadav’s assertion that he would not be the Chief Minister and that “the people themselves will be the CM,” Hussain countered, “These are merely his words. Everyone knows that ‘Jungle Raj Part 2’ will not be returning. Bihar is experiencing good governance now, and it will persist. The NDA will establish the next government and secure over 200 seats.”
Hussain expressed optimism that the Prime Minister’s visit would invigorate the BJP cadre and further solidify support for the NDA throughout Bihar.
