Is Operation Sindoor Still Ongoing? PM Modi's Strong Message Against Terrorism

Patna, May 30 (NationPress) During his two-day trip to Bihar on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that Operation Sindoor is far from finished, emphasizing that every act of terror will be met with a formidable response.

PM Modi invoked the spirit of national unity against terrorism, Maoism, and those he accused of undermining social justice.

In light of the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which resulted in the deaths of 25 tourists and a local, PM Modi reaffirmed his government's determination to retaliate against terrorism with unwavering strength.

“From the soil of Bihar, I pledged that the hideouts and masterminds of terror would face total destruction. Today, I proclaim, they have been punished beyond imagination,” he stated.

PM Modi celebrated the triumph of Operation Sindoor, characterizing it as a representation of the valor and might of the Indian armed forces.

He acknowledged the contributions of the BSF and paid homage to Sub-Inspector Imtiaz, a courageous soldier of Bihar who was martyred on May 10.

“We obliterated Pakistani airbases and military hideouts in just minutes. The terrorists who believed they were secure under Pakistan’s shield were brought to their knees,” he remarked.

“The power that the adversary witnessed during Operation Sindoor is merely one arrow in our arsenal,” he cautioned, asserting that India's battle against terror is far from over.

PM Modi highlighted the government’s efforts to combat Maoism, noting that the number of Maoist-affected districts has dwindled from over 125 to merely 18 since 2014.

He criticized previous administrations for their neglect of Maoist-affected regions where residents lacked basic amenities like schools, hospitals, and connectivity.

“Now, roads, mobile towers, schools, and employment opportunities are reaching these communities. The end of Maoist violence is nearing,” he added.

Without naming any specific leaders, PM Modi launched a fierce critique of the RJD and Congress, accusing them of betraying Bihar in the name of social justice.

“These are the very individuals under whose governance the impoverished had to flee Bihar. Now, they preach about social justice to preserve their relevance,” PM Modi stated.

He pointed out the deficiencies in toilets, housing, and bank accounts for Dalits and backward classes under previous regimes.

PM Modi claimed that the NDA government has ushered in a “new dawn of genuine social justice,” achieving 100 percent beneficiary coverage for essential services.

He celebrated the opening of the new terminal at Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport in Patna, fulfilling a long-held demand of the populace. The terminal, costing ₹1,400 crore, increases the annual passenger capacity to 1 crore.

Additionally, he laid the foundation for the new Bihta Airport, which encompasses 116 acres.

PM Modi also announced the establishment of the Makhana Board and the National Institute for Food Processing in Bihar, aimed at supporting local farmers and enhancing agro-industrial growth.

This visit marks PM Modi’s first to Bihar since Operation Sindoor and his fifth in 2024, highlighting the state's strategic significance ahead of the elections.
