Gaya, Sep 19 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Gaya on Saturday to carry out the revered ritual of 'pind daan' amidst the ongoing 'Pitru Paksha' Mahasangam 2025. The President will seek peace and salvation for ancestors at the renowned Vishnupad temple.
The local administration is on high alert for the President's visit, finalizing security and traffic plans to ensure safety.
On the day of the visit, strict vehicle restrictions and alternative traffic routes will be implemented to facilitate the President's convoy.
According to the planned route, President Murmu will travel from Gaya Airport via the Dobhi-Gaya main road, passing through significant points such as Gate No. 5 Bypass, Ghughri Tad Bypass, Narayani Bridge, and Bengali Ashram before arriving at Vishnupad Temple. The return journey will follow the same route.
Vehicle restrictions will also be in effect during her visit to Domuhan to Sikaria Mor, Gate No. 5 to City Public School, Chand Chaura Crossing, Bengali Ashram, and Ghughri Tad Bypass.

From City Public School: Traffic will be redirected via Mehta Petrol Pump, Kokara Mod, Kandi Nawada, Chakand Railway Gumti (four-lane) before reaching the temple.
From Chand Chaura Crossing: The route will take drivers through Rajendra Ashram, Digghi Talab, and DM Golambar before arriving at Vishnupad Mandir.
The administration has also set up drop gates at various points during the event.
