Chandigarh, Sep 2 (NationPress) In a significant effort, Punjab Cabinet ministers are actively engaging with villages and areas impacted by floods to deliver vital relief supplies and support to the affected populations, as announced by the government on Tuesday.
Cabinet ministers Harpal Singh Cheema and Lal Chand Kataruchak visited the flood-stricken villages in the Bhoa constituency of Pathankot district, assessing the situation firsthand.
They toured locations including Kathlaur Bridge, Kolian Adda, Pamma, Sionti Taraf, and Narot Jaimal Singh, assuring residents that the administration under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann would make every effort to provide essential relief during this challenging period. Their visit also included an inspection of the Dhussi dam.
In support of these efforts, Cheema dispatched four trucks filled with relief supplies for the Bhoa constituency.
