Jaipur, Jan 23 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasized that the strength of the youth is the most valuable resource for any nation and is pivotal in driving both state and national progress. He remarked that the youth represent both the current and future potential of the country, and assured that the state government supports students and young people at every turn.

He encouraged students to engage in their studies with commitment, innovate, and pursue their aspirations while taking full advantage of government initiatives. The Chief Minister revealed plans to establish a Foreign Language Communication Skills School in Jaipur aimed at students from government colleges.

During his address at the Saraswati Vandana, Youth Dialogue, and Mega PTM held at Commerce College in celebration of Basant Panchami and the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, he extended his wishes for a festival that embodies new awareness, creativity, and determination.

On this occasion, 75 lakh students throughout the state participated in a collective Saraswati Vandana, paying tribute to Goddess Saraswati. He also honored Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s significant role in India's freedom struggle, particularly through the formation of the Azad Hind Fauj.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government is rolling out numerous initiatives focused on youth education, skill enhancement, employment, and self-employment opportunities.

More than one lakh appointments have been made, with ongoing recruitment for 1.43 lakh posts, and a recruitment examination calendar has been published for one lakh government positions. Approximately 2.5 lakh young individuals have found jobs in the private sector.

He underscored key initiatives, such as the creation of 71 new government colleges, establishment of Youth Partner Centres at the divisional level, and hosting the Khelo India University Games.

Policies like the Rajasthan Youth Policy, Chief Minister’s Youth Self-Employment Scheme, skill training programs, internships, 65 i-Startup Launchpad Nests, and financial backing of about Rs 22.5 crore to 658 startups are fostering comprehensive youth development.

The Chief Minister mentioned that the government is persistently introducing innovations, policies, and schemes to enhance the education sector.

The Mega PTM aims to provide new guidance for education in Rajasthan, reinforcing trust and collaboration among teachers, parents, and students, he stated.

He reported that Krishna Bhog was organized in all government schools, promoting collective engagement and a constructive environment.

Under the Nipun Rajasthan Programme, the reading, writing, and arithmetic skills of students from Classes 1 to 5 are being improved through activity-based learning.

CM Sharma noted that daughters are achieving remarkable success in various fields today. The state government is aiding girls from birth through education, ensuring they lead dignified, safe, and independent lives.

Programs such as the Lado Protsahan Yojana, free bicycles for girls, complimentary basic computer education for 1.64 lakh women and girls, accounting training, spoken English programs, and the Chief Minister’s Women Empowerment Skill Development Scheme are empowering women across the state.

The Chief Minister emphasized that every student possesses exceptional potential and should advance with diligence, discipline, and values. He remarked that parents and teachers constitute the strongest support system for students.

While discipline can sometimes appear daunting, it lays the groundwork for future achievements. True competition, he emphasized, should be with oneself.

Teachers serve not only as educators but also as guides, motivators, and mentors, playing a crucial role in nation-building.

Addressing the previous administration, CM Sharma pointed out that the aspirations of youth were compromised due to problems like paper leaks, but his government is taking firm actions and will not tolerate those who jeopardize students' futures.

With a vision aligned with that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government remains dedicated to the welfare of farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa remarked that the Chief Minister’s engagement with students, parents, and teachers during the Mega PTM was uplifting and will further enhance Rajasthan’s educational framework. He described Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s legacy as a lasting source of inspiration for the youth.

Earlier, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in honor of Parakram Diwas (Valour Day).
