Jaipur, Feb 19 (NationPress) The Rajasthan government has made a noteworthy announcement for Agniveers, providing them reservations in the Rajasthan Police, Jail Department, and Forest Department.

Furthermore, there is a proposal being considered to extend reservations to the Fire Services, which will create government job opportunities for Agniveers who have served the nation.

In response to the water crisis, the government has initiated the recruitment of 1,050 technical positions within the drinking water department. Within the upcoming year, 1,500 new hand pumps and 1,000 tube wells are set to be installed.

Moreover, 10 lakh new families will be added to the Food Security Scheme, improving access to vital resources.

To enhance education, the state government has proposed the creation of the Ambedkar Institute of Constitutional Studies and Research under Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University.

In addition, MLA Jan Sunwai Centers will be established in every Assembly constituency with an investment of Rs 10 lakh. A provision has also been made to provide laptops to every MLA. The budget includes significant advantages for temples and priests.

The government has earmarked Rs 27,854 crore under the ‘Green Budget’ to foster environmental protection and sustainable development. Several new schemes have been introduced for farmers, including agricultural loans totaling Rs 25,000 crore for 30 lakh farmers.

A 5 percent interest subsidy will be offered on long-term crop and non-agricultural loans. Additionally, 2,500 Gram Seva Cooperative Societies (GSS) will be established at Gram Panchayat headquarters, and Purchase and Sale Cooperative Unions (KVSA) will be created in eight new districts.
