Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao reported that Rs 513.83 crore was allocated on Monday, which elevates the total disbursement to over Rs 8,284 crore.
The minister highlighted that farmers with less than 15 acres of land received the funds on Monday.
On June 12, the state government commenced the crediting of funds in farmers’ accounts to support investments for the upcoming rainy season.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that a total of Rs 9,000 crore would be deposited into farmers' bank accounts within nine days.
On the initial day, financial assistance was allocated to farmers owning up to two acres of land.
Additionally, Nageswara Rao declared that a meeting to commemorate the completion of Rythu Bharosa would take place at the Rajiv Gandhi statue in front of the State Secretariat on Tuesday.
He reviewed preparations for the event during a meeting with Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao and senior officials from various departments.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and other ministers are expected to attend the meeting.
The Agriculture Minister reiterated that the state government is committed to providing comprehensive support to farmers, with the goal of elevating their status.
He noted that Rs 9,000 crore were credited to farmers before they began their sowing activities.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the government has waived farm loans for 25 lakh farmers amounting to Rs 21,000 crore, marking this as the second-highest loan waiver in the country, after the Rs 70,000 crore waiver during Manmohan Singh's tenure as Prime Minister.
Under Rythu Bharosa, farmers receive annual financial aid of Rs 2,000 per acre of cultivable land, distributed in two installments across two crop seasons.
Launched in January this year, Rythu Bharosa replaces the previous Rythu Bandhu scheme, which provided farmers with Rs 10,000 per acre annually.
