Ayodhya, Nov 25 (NationPress) After presiding over the Dhwajarohan Utsav by raising the revered flag at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that this day signifies the conclusion of centuries of suffering and strife.

Alongside RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, PM Modi conducted the Dhwajarohan Utsav at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple by elevating the specially crafted saffron flag.

In his address to the vast assembly gathered on the temple grounds, PM Modi expressed, "Today, Ayodhya stands at a pivotal moment in India's cultural awakening. The entire nation and the world are brimming with reverence for Lord Ram."

The ceremony holds profound cultural and spiritual significance for devotees nationwide.

"The hearts of all Ram devotees overflow with deep satisfaction, gratitude, and joy. Sadiyo ke ghav bhar rahe hain (centuries-old wounds are healing today). The anguish of ages is dissipating, while the resolve of centuries is realizing its success. Today marks the poornahuti (final offering) of the yagna that has endured for 500 years, a yagya that never faltered in faith, not even for an instant," he added.

The flag, meticulously designed for the Ram Temple, is 22 feet long and 11 feet wide. Crafted by a parachute expert from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, it weighs between 2 and 3 kilograms and is engineered to endure high-altitude winds.

Emblazoned with the Sun symbol, the flag signifies Lord Rama's Suryavanshi lineage and divine brilliance. It features images of the Kovidara tree, the Sun, and Om, and its saffron hue symbolizes fire, the rising sun, sacrifice, and commitment.

Regarding the sacred flag, PM Modi stated, "This Dharma Dhwaj is more than just a flag; it embodies the revival of Indian civilization. The saffron color, the sun symbol, the holy word 'Om', and the Kovidara tree illustrate the glory of Ramrajya. This Dhwaj represents a resolution, a triumph, a narrative of creation born from struggle, a testament to dreams realized, and evidence of the saints' devotion and communal engagement."

"This Dharma Dhwaj will inspire a message of 'Pran jaaye par vachan na jaaye' (We will give our life to keep a promise). It will convey that Karma and Kartavya should be prioritized in our world. It will also encourage our commitment to uphold peace and prosperity in society, where no one lives in poverty or suffering," he further remarked.

This event signifies the completion of the temple's construction.
