New Delhi, Aug 13 (NationPress) In a significant blow to the Congress administration in Telangana, the Supreme Court issued a stay on the appointments of M. Kodandaram and Amer Ali Khan as Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) under the Governor's quota on Wednesday.
This ruling follows a petition by Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders Dasoju Sravan and Kurra Satyanarayana, who contested the state government's nominations.
The stay order arrived nearly one year after Kodandaram and Amer Ali Khan took their oaths as MLCs.
