Ahmedabad, Oct 26 (NationPress) Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the 'Shatchandi Mahayagna' in Gozariya village, located in Mehsana district, asserting that science informed by faith can accomplish any objective.
While extending greetings for the New Year on the occasion of Vikram Samvat 2082, the Chief Minister highlighted the necessity for development to align with tradition, resonating with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's philosophy of 'progress while preserving heritage'.
Emphasizing the spiritual importance of yajnas, CM Patel remarked, 'If science is informed by faith, we can achieve any goal we set for ourselves.'
His comments were made during the 'Mahayagna' hosted by the Shri Umiya Mataji Mandir Trust and the Patidar community.
He praised Gozariya village for its collective strength, stating, 'This village not only completes its own tasks effortlessly but also supports others in their endeavors.'
Discussing the revitalized spiritual energy across the nation following the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, CM Patel underscored Gujarat's pivotal role in nation-building, asserting, 'The vision of a developed India is attainable only through a developed Gujarat.' He elaborated on the state's initiatives aimed at fostering inclusive growth that benefits every village and citizen.
The Chief Minister also detailed Gujarat's strategies to boost economic growth, including the government's innovative zone-wise Vibrant Conferences. The inaugural conference held in North Gujarat resulted in investment pledges surpassing Rs 3 lakh crore and over 1,200 MoUs, to which Patel expressed his satisfaction.
CM Patel concluded by encouraging the residents of Gozariya to embrace new resolutions for the year ahead and prayed to Goddess Umiya for their successful realization.
Member of Parliament Haribhai Patel stressed the significance of upholding religious practices across India to instill values in the youth.
