Bengaluru, April 29 (NationPress) The Sri Ram Sena has arranged a special 10-hour puja on Tuesday to commemorate Parshuram Jayanti, held in Bengaluru, to pray for the triumph of the Indian Armed Forces in the potential conflict between India and Pakistan, in light of the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals.
Parshuram Jayanti is an important Hindu festival marking the birth of Parshuram, who is revered as the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
The puja includes the installation of a monumental 15-foot axe, symbolizing the weapon wielded by the revered saint Parashuram. Various special rituals such as Rama Bhadraka Yagya, Sankalpa Yagya, and Parashuram Yagya are being performed, invoking greater strength and moral courage for Indian soldiers to confront terrorists and Pakistan.
The Founder and National President of Sri Ram Sena, Pramod Muthalik, along with thousands of Hindu activists, had also intended to conduct a Shobha Yatra in Bengaluru, showcasing a 10-foot statue of Parashuram and the 15-foot axe.
“The Shobha Yatra has been curtailed in light of the prevailing situation,” he remarked.
In discussions with reporters, Muthalik expressed, “The special worship, yagya, and other religious ceremonies are being orchestrated by the Sri Ram Sena to instill courage and strength in Indian soldiers. During this special worship, prayers will also be made in honor of those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.”
“Hindus continue to lack protection and security in this country even after seven decades of Independence. We face adversaries both from within and outside. There are individuals among us who voice support for Pakistan. Some openly align with Pakistan,” Muthalik stated.
“Those who advocate for Pakistan while residing in India must be firmly addressed. Hindus are subjected to insults, humiliation, and propaganda. It is imperative that these malicious forces receive a strong message through this special worship,” he asserted.
The event is being conducted under the guidance of Pejawar seer Vishwaprasanna Teertha.
