Chennai, Feb 15 (NationPress) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has charged AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) with functioning as a “voice dubber” for the BJP. He also claimed that a covert alliance exists between the AIADMK and the BJP.

During his interactive session, Ungalil Oruvan (One Among You), Stalin addressed Palaniswami’s comments on the Delhi Assembly election outcomes. EPS asserted that the results represented a setback for the INDIA coalition.

In reply, Stalin rejected Palaniswami’s assertions, stating that they mirrored the BJP’s position. When questioned about differing opinions among DMK’s allies, Stalin minimized any discord, suggesting their thoughts were constructive feedback.

“Disagreements are natural, whether in a family, workplace, or any environment. Voicing one’s opinion is indicative of democratic participation,” he stated. His remarks came amid critiques from DMK’s allies, the CPI(M) and the VCK, regarding various matters.

Both parties have also called for a CBI probe into the Vengaivayal incident, where human waste was discovered mixed in an overhead water tank in Pudukkottai district.

Regarding the situation in Manipur, Stalin denounced the Union government’s choice to implement President’s Rule in the state, describing it as “long overdue.” He remarked that Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh had no alternative but to resign due to his mishandling of the crisis. “Before making remarks, Palaniswami should contemplate his own past shortcomings,” Stalin added.

The Chief Minister emphasized numerous welfare and educational programs initiated by his administration, particularly those aimed at women’s education. Notable schemes he cited include the CM’s Breakfast Scheme, which provides nutritious meals to students, ‘Education at Your Doorstep’ – a program addressing learning gaps, Pudhumai Pen and Tamil Puthalvan – offering Rs 1,000 financial aid to college students, and Makkali Thedi Maruthuvam – a healthcare initiative delivered at home.

Stalin reiterated his persistent claim that the Central government has ignored Tamil Nadu, especially concerning financial allocations. He asserted that the state has been deprived of essential funds in recent years, further hindering its development projects.
