Telangana Chief Minister Explores Kanha Shanti Vanam, Commends Heartfulness Programs

Hyderabad, Dec 29 (NationPress) On Sunday, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Kanha Shanti Vanam, the headquarters of Heartfulness situated near Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister sought information regarding the soft skills training provided to children and students at Kanha Shanti Vanam in the village of Kanha, located in the Nandigama mandal of Rangareddy district.
He commended the students for their impressive abilities, such as recognizing colors and reading words while blindfolded.
Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of implementing such remarkable skills in government and residential schools.
Following this, he toured the Tree Conservation Centre on the premises, where the administrators of Shanti Vanam briefed the CM on the development of various tree species and plant cultivation.
The Chief Minister also explored the specially developed rainforest within the Shanti Vanam and the facility's tissue-culture lab. He took part in planting a sapling at the meditation center.
Accompanying him were Chief Minister's Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Government Advisor Srinivasa Raju, MLA Shankaraiah, along with senior officials, as noted in a statement from the Chief Minister's Office.
During his inaugural visit to Kanha Shanti Vanam, the Chief Minister met with Daaji, the guide of Heartfulness and president of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission. He received a unique guided tour of the thriving rainforest at Kanha Shanti Vanam.
Revanth Reddy and Daaji discussed the significant contributions of Heartfulness in areas such as sustainability, afforestation, women's empowerment, and education. He acknowledged Daaji's vision and leadership, which have elevated the Shri Ram Chandra Mission and improved lives. Their conversation included various initiatives and how these programs could be expanded for the benefit of the public.
"Kanha Shanti Vanam stands as a symbol of pride for Telangana today. Under Daaji's leadership, Heartfulness has established benchmarks for global communities in creating ecosystems. There’s immense potential for international communities to learn from Kanha Shanti Vanam in terms of afforestation, sustainability, and education," the Chief Minister was quoted by Heartfulness.
"While Heartfulness has tirelessly worked to enhance lives, we draw motivation from the government's support in this endeavor. Our goal is to create a paradise on earth through a balanced approach that elevates human consciousness," stated Daaji.
