Hyderabad, June 30 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, expressed his deep shock regarding the extensive fire incident that occurred in the Pashamylaram industrial area of Sangareddy district.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to take all essential steps to rescue the workers who are trapped due to the incident.
As per the statements from the Chief Minister’s Office, he also emphasized the importance of providing the best possible medical care for the injured.
A total of eight workers lost their lives, and 28 others sustained injuries during the reactor explosion at a chemical factory on Monday morning.
Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha visited the site of the accident and mandated officials to extend every possible support to the victims.
Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, expressed his sorrow upon learning of the fire accident.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, and I pray for the swift recovery of the injured. I have communicated with the district administration, urging them to implement immediate rescue operations and provide necessary medical assistance,” he shared on ‘X’.
“The Government of India stands united with those impacted by this tragic event and will offer financial aid to the families of the victims,” he added.
The working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) labeled the reactor explosion at Patancheru's Pashamylaram Industrial Area as profoundly tragic. He called on authorities to prioritize the rescue of workers trapped at the site.
“It is crucial that all injured individuals receive the highest standard of medical care. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased,” the former minister posted on X.
“Conducting safety audits in all industrial units is imperative, and I urge the government to launch a comprehensive investigation into this incident,” he added.
K. Kavitha, president of Telangana Jagruthi and BRS MLC, also described the explosion at the chemical factory as tragic.
Kavitha expressed through social media that the news of the significant fire incident at the Sigachi Chemical Factory, which resulted in fatalities, has been distressing.
She urged the government to enhance medical services for the workers injured in the reactor explosion and called for support for the families of the deceased workers.
