Hyderabad, Nov 13 (NationPress) Telangana presents remarkable opportunities for international investors, stated Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday. During his address at the annual conclave of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum in New Delhi, he made a compelling case for investment in Telangana and Hyderabad.
He informed attendees that Hyderabad's central location, minimal security risks, favorable climate, and world-class infrastructure position it as a prime destination. “We are the gateway to the entire Indian market and a major hub for Global Capability Centres. Come and invest in my state,” urged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
Highlighting the achievements of the Congress government over the past 23 months, he emphasized his future priorities, which include economic empowerment of women, providing superior education and skills, and urban development, particularly making Hyderabad a truly world-class city with exceptional amenities and quality of life.
Inviting prestigious global academic institutions, he said, “Once Harvard, Stanford, or Oxford establishes an offshore campus in Hyderabad, many students from the Global South will be able to attend these Ivy League programs due to easier visa regulations and lower costs.”
Promoting significant projects like Bharat Future City and River Musi rejuvenation, he stated, “Bharat Future City will become India’s most advanced, world-class city spanning 30,000 acres. Following rejuvenation, the Musi riverfront will rival the experiences of London, Tokyo, Dubai, or Seoul, contributing to the city’s night economy.”
In addition to discussing plans for a dry port and the expansion of Hyderabad Metro Rail, the Regional Ring Road (RRR), radial roads, and a manufacturing zone between the RRR and Outer Ring Road (ORR), Chief Minister Reddy mentioned that Telangana aims to establish itself as the global alternative to the China +1 strategy.
He also proposed naming roads in Hyderabad after corporations, stating, “We will dedicate important roads in Hyderabad to corporates. Instead of naming them after political leaders, let’s honor companies like Google, Meta, or TCS Infosys.”
According to the Chief Minister's Office, his appeal for major investments in Telangana, as part of his vision for a $1 trillion state economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion SGDP by 2047, received significant support and applause.
John Chambers, former CEO of Cisco and tech visionary, described CM Revanth Reddy’s vision for Telangana as “bold, clear, and highly achievable,” assuring him of his full support. Chambers expressed that the Chief Minister’s description of transformative projects and their social impact was truly impressive.
Dr. Mukesh Aghi, CEO and President of USISPF, indicated that in response to CM Reddy's invitation, many members are likely to attend the TelanganaRising Global Summit organized by the state on December 8 and 9 in Hyderabad to reveal and highlight the comprehensive vision for the state.
