Jaipur, Nov 13 (NationPress) The vote counting for the Anta Assembly by-election is set to take place under stringent security measures at the Government Postgraduate College on Friday.

Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan announced that the counting will commence at 8 a.m., with the votes being processed using EVM machines in 20 rounds across 14 tables.

A total of 271 EVM machines were employed during the polling, and postal ballots will also be included in the counting process. Votes were cast for 15 candidates. A comprehensive three-tier security framework has been established at the counting location.

Entry to the counting center will be closed at 7:30 a.m., and strict regulations against mobile phones and smoking materials will be enforced within the premises.

Prior to the counting, District Election Officer Rohitashv Singh Tomar examined the counting center on Thursday and convened a meeting with officials to assess the arrangements.
