Hyderabad, June 26 (NationPress) The Bonalu festival, a vibrant representation of Telangana's distinct culture, commenced on Thursday with great enthusiasm as devotees presented the inaugural Bonam to goddess Jagadambika at the historic Golconda Fort.
The month-long celebrations began with traditional rites conducted by a group of priests.
A grand procession moved from Langar House to the Jagdamba temple located at Golconda Fort. Numerous women balancing pots on their heads, along with Potharajus and other devotees, took part in the event.
